DAA - Airfield Drainage Strategy
Balfour Beatty Ireland has recently commenced works at Dublin Airport on Phase 1 of the Airfield Drainage Strategy works.
This design and construct project involves the provision of significant surface water attenuation and polluted water retention facilities to cater for run off from the airfield. The works include large diameter pipe work, reinforced concrete tanks, associated mechanical and electrical control equipment, and other general site works.
The works are being carried out in an airside environment, in full accordance with the strict procedures required by the Dublin Airport Authority.
This project is phase 1 of an overall programme of attenuation works at Dublin Airport. Balfour Beatty Ireland has been shortlisted on a framework of contractors to tender for further projects in this programme.
